ConnectMe

UI DesignPrint

ConnectMe has been the first project I worked on when joining HealthShare. It has since been taken down but its goal was to offer a secure platform for Health specialists to take care of their patients.

Initial statement

  • The existing website was using heavy and useless stylesheets.
  • The UI was poor, depending on Bootstrap's icons and styling.
  • There was no proper homepage explaining what the product was.
  • The brand wasn't consistent across the different products.

Solution provided

  • Cleaned the HTML and CSS codebase from Bootstrap and other framework code.
  • Created proper svg icons, removing the use of Fontawesome.
  • Coded a brand new website with different section explaining ConnectMe to our audiences.
  • Defined the branding for print material for this product.

Connecting care

ConnectMe was built as a secure communication platform allowing doctors to follow up on their clients health and do video chats with them.

The idea of remote health monitoring wasn't as popular at the time as it is nowadays.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of resources in the company and the prioritisation of other products, HealthShare had to shut down the service.

Regardless, this has been a great experience for me and gave me the opportunity to strenghten my knowledge in product design.

Icons for a first

ConnectMe was the first time I was designing icons from scratch for a product.
I was lucky enough to get the guidance of HealthShare lead designer at the time (thanks Chris!) who taught me a lot, if not everything, about icons.

Marketing and print

As my role evolved within the company, I got to work on the branding of each product, which included ConnectMe.

These flyers were used during nation-wide conferences in Australia.
